I am currently an Assistant Professor at NIKOS, University of Twente (https://www.utwente.nl/en/bms/nikos/staff/shah-zhou/). I am also adjunct research fellow at Innovation Research Center, Kwansei Gakuin University, Hyogo, Japan and affiliated researcher at the University of Trier, Germany.

I am a passionate researcher, specialized in Innovation and Entrepreneurship with a proven record in scientific publications. I am an expert in statistical and econometric analysis using large databases and competent in qualitative methods.
As a teacher, I care about my students. I want to inspire them and prepare them for the job market by establishing interactions and engagement between businesses and students.
Using my large international network in universities, institutions and businesses, I recognize opportunities and enjoy forming partnerships and consortiums.
Outside academia I have worked as a start-up advisor and project manager consulting and advising both small businesses and large corporates.
